Air con regas & recharge
A car's air conditioning loses roughly 10% of its refrigerant gas every year through normal use, so even a system that's never had a fault will eventually stop blowing properly cold — and stop clearing a foggy windscreen quickly too, since it's the drying effect of the air con that gets your glass clear so fast. A regas puts that right, whatever the season. We recover what's left of the old gas, pull a vacuum on the system to check it's sealed, then recharge it with the correct refrigerant and oil for your vehicle — R134a for older cars, R1234yf for newer ones. Every job finishes with a vent temperature check in front of you, so you leave knowing it worked rather than hoping it did.
- Full recovery of old or low refrigerant
- Vacuum test to check the system holds
- Recharge with the correct gas & oil for your vehicle
- UV dye added for easy leak tracing later
- Vent temperature check before you drive away
